Western Union

At all outlets of the Bank

Western Union is currently among the largest global systems of legal money transfer, operating besides regular interbank channels.

  • tradition of more than 150 years,
  • more than 140 countries,
  • more than 40,000 locations,
  • enabling money transfer to almost all world countries

Who are the clients of Western Union services?

  • tourists and travellers - due to unforeseen costs abroad;
  • pupils and students in foreign countries,
  • workers temporarily employed abroad,
  • persons whose documents and money have been stolen or lost etc.

How to wire money via Western Union?

  • Bring your money to any Western Union cash payment-withdrawal point and fill out a brief form.
  • You will get a receipt with a control number of the money transfer.
  • Notify the recipient (beneficiary) of the transfer.
  • The recipient may go to any Western Union payment-withdrawal point and will immediately be paid out in local currency.
  • Service fee is payable by the money sender (payer).

What is it that makes Western Union money transfers simple?

  • payment in local currency
  • withdrawal within 10 to 30 minutes
  • neither the sender nor the recipient need to hold any Bank account

Another advantage of this type of service is that payout is possible without any identification documents, which is especially important for the persons whose documents and money have been stolen or lost. In this case, the use of a password is mandatory and the sender must notify the recipient of it.
